Installation and activation

Octopus IPA several suites, including two forms of products: client software and web application. The client software includes (z-factory process editor, z-bot terminal robot), which needs to be installed on the computer or equipment used; Web Applications (including z-commander intelligent hub and z-brain cloud brain) can be used only by accessing the specified link address through the browser.

For the z-commander intelligent hub deployed privately, it needs to be activated for the first time and can be used after activation. After activation, the assigned account can be added through the z-commander intelligent center, and the client software can be logged in directly without activation.

1、 Client installation

The z-factory process editor and z-bot terminal robot need to be installed with software, and the installation steps are the same. The installation steps are described below with z-factory as an example.

Step 1. Select the installation path, the system will set the default path. The user clicks & ldquo; Install now & rdquo; Button to go to the next step.

Step 2. Installation progress displayIn this process, the system will carry out environmental detection and installation. Users only need to wait and can view the installation progress percentage in real time.

 

Step 3: installation completed。 After installation, click & ldquo; Experience it now & rdquo; Button to open the software, or click Close in the upper right corner of the window to close the prompt box.

 

2、 Activate smart hub z-commander

In the default SaaS login mode, the intelligent hub z-commander only needs to log in to the account and enter the product for normal use after authority verification. In the case of privatization deployment, the intelligent hub commander needs to be activated before use, and the correct activation file can be uploaded before logging in and subsequent operations. If you have obtained the activation code, you can directly upload the activation code file. If you don't get the activation code, you can use your mobile phone to scan the QR code below to apply.

 

Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code, enter the account to be activated and select the product to be activated. After submitting the application, the system will send the activation file to your designated mailbox by email. After receiving the activation code, return to the activation interface and upload the activation code for activation. Accounts can be registered independently through real unified users, or manually created and allocated by real staff.

 

It is emphasized here that the premise of applying for and obtaining the activation code is that the enterprise has purchased the authorization and the activation quantity does not exceed the purchased quantity. If it is not qualified, it will send a failure SMS notice.

Note: the offline activation mode of z-factory process editor and z-bot terminal robot is the same as the activation application process of intelligent hub commander.
