Octopus IPA editor provides basic and general components. These components have limited attributes and types, that is, they can be opened and used immediately, and the properties, input and output of components cannot be changed. In some special but common scenarios, the basic components can not effectively meet the needs of customers. They want to develop their own components. The self built component function allows users to develop components by themselves, or combine the basic components officially provided by us into their own self built components to form new components. At the same time, they can also be encapsulated into component packages and shared with others. Self built components need to be managed, published and shared in component packages. Therefore, when creating components, you need to select the component package. Component packages are files used to classify a class of components.

 

1、 Self built component entrance

Self built components can quickly create new self built components in the [start] position on the factory home page, or create new self built components in the [components] position on the home page; Self built components distinguish between computer side components and mobile side components, among which mobile side components are our upcoming capabilities. Computer side components refer to components that operate applications or software on the computer desktop, and mobile side components refer to components that operate mobile side software or web pages. In the process of self built components, two concepts will be involved: component package and component.

•Component package, component package refers to a kind of components managed in the same file. The concept of component package is introduced here to facilitate users to manage too many self built components. Self developed components can be classified and managed in the form of component package. At the same time, we can publish and export the whole component package, Share the components developed by yourself to others in the form of an entire package.

 

•assembly, the smallest action element to be called, appears in the operation object of the editor component list, and can be used by dragging and dropping. When creating self built components, individual components need to be classified and packaged, that is, packaged into a component package, which can also be understood as the classification of components.

 

2、 Self built component management

Component packages are managed on the component page of the factory home page. You can create new component packages or delete component packages. Component packages manage the local self built component data of the current developer. If the developer changes another computer, the self built components cannot be viewed.

Component package management includes the following functions:

•New component package: click new component package to open the component package information filling box. After filling in the content, click OK to complete the component package creation, and one more piece of data will be added to the component package list.

•Component package list: refers to the component data contained in the current component package. Click to open and view the component list information, and you can manage the component data in the list.

•Package details: view the basic information of the current component package and the component information contained.

•Component package export: export the current component package, that is, export the current component package. Set the corresponding parameters during export. It can be exported to private or shared markets for sharing. Other colleagues or want to use the components you share, you can download them from the extended component market.

•Publish to local: that is, the currently edited component package is published locally for use. After publishing, it can be visible and referenced in the extension component during process editing.

•Historical version: record the distribution history of the current component package. Each time the current component package is published, the distribution data will be recorded.

•delete: you can delete the entire component package and all component data in it. After deletion, the data cannot be recovered. Be careful when deleting.

 

Component list management

Component list is a list of component data contained in the current component package, which is convenient for users to view and manage. The current component status can be viewed in the component list. If the component package has been published, the component will inherit the status of the component package and become published. If it has not been published, it is in editing; The published components can also be edited again. During editing, the component version number needs to be added, as shown in the figure. Click OK to enter the component editing interface and redevelop the components. At the same time, the status of the components will change to being edited.

•Component copy add: the current component can copy the same component. When copying, the component name will be automatically added with & ldquo; Copy & rdquo;, Two components with the same name are not allowed in the same package for management and use. After copying, a piece of data will be added to the current component list.

•move: unpublished components in the current component package or newly copied components can be moved to other component packages to facilitate users to reclassify components. After moving, this component cannot be viewed in this component list. Published components are not allowed to be moved, and a prompt will be given when moving.

•Historical version: record the published history of the component. You can edit the component data of the historical version again or delete the history. After deletion, it cannot be recovered.

•rename: you can modify the name of the currently selected component.

•edit: click edit or double-click the selected component to enter the component editing interface to develop the component.

•delete: after deleting a component, it cannot be retrieved. Be careful when deleting it. When deleting, the component history will also be deleted synchronously.
