Chrome plugin

Chrome plug-in is an extension program used to cooperate with RPA to pick up web elements and other operations in Chrome browser. If you need to automate the operation of Chrome browser, you need to install this extension program to prepare the environment.

1. When installing chrome plug-in, please ensure that Chrome browser is installed on your computer and that the browser is closed;

2. The installation method is divided into automatic installation (recommended) and manual installation. Users who install chrome plug-ins for the first time can use automatic installation;

3. For users who have installed chrome plug-ins but deleted them from the Chrome extension, they must install them manually to take effect.

1、 Automatic installation

First stepOpen the z-factory client home page and select & ldquo; Tools / extensions / Chrome plugins & ldquo;, Click [install].

Step 2After receiving the following prompts during installation, go to Chrome browser [enable plug-in] according to the prompts.

Step 3 Open the Chrome browser and enter the expansion program page to ensure that the developer mode and z-rpa plug-in are open.

 There are two ways to enter the extender page:

1. Enter in the Chrome browser address bar chrome://extensions , click enter;

2. Click & middot; & middot; & middot;] in the upper right corner of Chrome browser, select [more tools], and click [extension program]

Step 4So far, the chrome plug-in has been installed. After closing and restarting the Chrome browser, the relevant components in z-factory can automate the browser, and the browser can also be automatically executed in the z-bot application process.

2、 Advanced installation

First stepOpen chrome developer mode. Open the Chrome browser and enter the extension page (* Click to view * the method to enter the extension), and ensure that the developer mode is in [on].

Step 2Locate the chrome plug-in file. Under the path C: \ program files (x86) \ z-factory \ resources \ app. ASAR. Unpacked \ resources \ support \ chromeplugin \ rpachromeextension, find the iirpachromeextension.crx file with the suffix. CRX.

Step 3Drag the plug-in file found in the previous step into the Chrome extension page, pop up the prompt box for installation confirmation, click add, and ensure Intelligence Indeed Technology Co.Ltd. IPA plug-in is on.

Step 4So far, the chrome plug-in has been installed. After closing and restarting the Chrome browser, the relevant components in z-factory can automate the browser.

3、 Exception handling

1. Prompt registry write failure

resolvent:Write to the registry manually. The operation steps are as follows:

① Windows + R open the run window, enter [regedit], and click [OK] to open the registry page, as shown in the figure:

 

② Find the path "computer \ hkey_current_user \ software \ Google \ chrome \ extensions";

Select "extensions", right click = & gt; New = & gt; Item = & gt; Name the plug-in ID "nfifhdmjkohbbolbamdbopicimjnpm";

Select the newly created item "nfifhdmjkohbbolbamdbopicimjnpm", and right-click on the right = & gt; New = & gt; String value (s). Enter the path (path = C: \ users \ user name \ appdata \ local \ iirpa \ rpachromeextension \ iirpachromeextension. CRX) and version information (vesion = 2.2) of the plug-in respectively, as shown in the following figure.

③ Find the path "computer \ hkey_current_user \ software \ Google \ chrome \ nativemessaginghosts"; Select "native messaging hosts", right click = & gt; New = & gt; Item = & gt; Named "II. RPA. Chromenativemsg"; Select the newly created item "II. RPA. Chromenativemsg", modify the data in the (default) column on the right to "C: \ users \ user name \ appdata \ local \ iirpa \ rpachromeextension \ iirpachromeextension. CRX) and enter the version information (vesion = 2.2), as shown in the following figure.

④ After completing the above operations, open the [plug in / extension / Chrome plug-in] page on the home page of z-factory client again to check whether the chrome plug-in has been installed as shown in the figure below. If not, click Install again.

2. Prompt file copy failed

resolvent:Manually copy the file to the specified directory. The operation steps are as follows:

① Under the path "C: \ program files (x86) \ z-factory \ resources \ app \ resources \ support \ chromeplugin", find the folder "rpachromeextension" and copy it to the directory "% localappdata% \ iirpa".

② After completing the above operations, open the [plug in / extension / Chrome plug-in] page on the home page of z-factory client again, and click Install again.

 

3. Error when manually installing and dragging plug-ins

resolvent:Check whether the [developer mode] of Chrome browser is enabled. Please ensure that the developer mode is enabled.

4. The chrome plug-in was installed successfully, but it cannot be used normally

resolvent:

① First, check whether there is a process named ii.rpa.nativemessaginghost.exe in the task manager. If there is no process, try restarting the Chrome browser.

② If restarting the browser is invalid, check whether there is a "rpachromeextension" folder under the windows file path "% localappdata% \ iirpa" and whether there are the following files in the folder. If not, it can be handled according to the above "file copy failure" to view the details.

③ If none of the above is valid, check whether the registry information is complete. You can check according to the above "registry write failure" to see the details.
