Edge plug in

Edge plug-in is an extension program used to cooperate with RPA to pick up web elements and other operations in edge browser. If you need to automate the operation of edge browser, you need to install this extension program to prepare the environment.

Attention (important)

1. When installing edge plug-in, please ensure that edge browser is installed on your computer and that the browser is closed;

2. The installation method is divided into automatic installation (recommended) and manual installation. Users who install edge plug-in for the first time can use automatic installation;

3. For users who have installed edge plug-ins but have deleted them from the edge extension, they can take effect by reinstalling them directly.

1、 Automatic installation

First stepOpen the z-factory client home page and select & ldquo; Tools / extensions / edge plugins & ldquo;, Click [install].

Step 2 Open the edge browser and enter the expansion program page to ensure that Intelligence Indeed Technology Co.Ltd. IPA plug-ins are on.

There are two ways to enter the extender page:

• Enter in the edge browser address bar edge://extensions , click enter;

• Click & middot; & middot; & middot; in the upper right corner of edge browser and click expand.

Step 3 At this point, the edge plug-in has been installed. After closing and restarting the edge browser, the relevant components in z-factory can automate the browser, and the browser can also be automatically executed in the z-bot application process.

2、 Advanced installation

First stepOpens the extender installation page

There are two ways to enter the extender page:

•Enter in the edge browser address bar edge://extensions , click enter;

• Click & middot; & middot; & middot; in the upper right corner of edge browser and click expand.

Step 2On the extension installation page, first open the "developer mode" option on the right side of the page

Step 3Drag the plug-in (suffix is. CRX file) to the plug-in installation interface and drag the file into the CRX file (C: \ program files (x86) \ z-factory \ resources \ app \ resources \ support \ browserplugin \ rpaedgeextension \ iirpaedgeextension. CRX)

Step 4Click Add extension to install successfully

3、 Exception handling

1. If an error is reported after dragging the plug-in

• resolvent:Check whether the developer mode is on

2. If the plug-in is installed successfully, but the recording operation cannot be used

• resolvent:Check if the name ii.rpa.nativemessaginghostedge.exe exists in the task manager

If not, try restarting the edge browser

3. Local web page recognition cannot be used

•resolvent:

1. Click the plug-in "details" button

2. Find the "allow access to file URL" option and turn it on
