Firefox plugin

Firefox plug-in is an extension program used to cooperate with RPA to pick up web elements and other operations in Firefox browser. If you need to automate the operation of Firefox browser, you need to install this extension program to prepare the environment.

Attention (important)

When installing the Firefox plug-in, make sure that the Firefox browser is installed on your computer and that the browser is closed.

1、 Installation instructions

Step 1:Open the z-factory client and select & ldquo; Plugins / extensions / Firefox plugins & ldquo;, Click [install].

Step 2:The system will automatically call up the Firefox browser, pop up the browser plug-in installation interface, and click Add to add the plug-in to the browser.

Step 3:Restart Firefox browser, you can automatically pick up elements and other operations on Web pages in Firefox browser.

2、 Exception handling

1. Prompt for registry write failure

• resolvent:Write the registry automatically. The operation steps are as follows:

① Open the registry windows + R, open the operation window, enter regedit, and click OK. As shown in the figure below:

 

② Find the path "computer \ hkey_current_user \ software \ Mozilla \ nativemessaginghosts", select "nativemessaginghosts", click ⿏ right click = & gt; New = & gt; Item = & gt; Enter the file path and plug-in version number of manifest.json of the plug-in file.

③ After completing the above operations, open the z-factory client again and enter the [plug in / extension / Firefox plug-in] page on the home page to check whether the Firefox plug-in has been installed. If not, click Install again.

 

2. Prompt file copy failure

• resolvent:Manually copy the file to the specified directory.
